Swimming is an excellent aerobic activity that has helped people of all ages and abilities live a healthier lifestyle. With our year-round, indoor-outdoor heated pool, our classes are designed to help you stay healthy without the impact of traditional land-based exercise. Water is ideal for cross-training to improve your flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular fitness.
We offer swim classes and programs for adults and seniors. Children can also learn the critical life skill of swimming through private and semi-private swim lessons with our certified instructors and through the Pods Swimming program (www.podsswimming.com).

Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons
We currently offer private and semi-private swim lessons; all of our instructors teach both adults and children. Please contact an instructor below or download one of our registration forms.
Masters Swim Program
Masters Swim is a 75-minute group training session that provides an excellent cardiovascular workout for individuals looking to improve their swimming as well as for individuals looking for an alternate cross training opportunity. Written workouts focusing on endurance, speed and/or technique are provided for different abilities ranging from intermediate to advanced swimmers. These swimmer-led practices total 2400 to 4000 yards and are open to adults who can swim freestyle and are comfortable swimming with other people in their lane.

If I want to sign my children up for swim lessons who do I speak with?
Private and semi-private lessons are available. Time slots are based on the availability of both you and the instructor. Each session is 30 minutes long. Please call 846-7723 and ask for the aquatics supervisor.
Are group swim lessons offered?
Yes, group lessons are offered throughout the year. If interested please sign up at the front desk, as space is limited. Swim clinics are also periodically offered.
Can I work out while my children swim?
Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If your child(ren) is not a strong swimmer an adult must be in the water with them. Babysitters must be older than 13 and if not a member require a Guest Pass.
Terri is a lifetime swimmer with a passion for teaching. She has been teaching swim lessons for over 30 years. She coached at the high school level for 10 years. Terri is experienced with children and adults, from the first time swimmer to stroke refinement. Terri is a certified teacher and lifeguard.
Jenny has taught preschool children through teenagers at all levels of ability to swim and enjoy the water. Her lessons have an emphasis on fun. Her enthusiastic and innovative approach to teaching has made her a successful and popular instructor. She has a special interest in working with children who are uncomfortable or afraid of the water. A competitive swimmer for eight years, she has also been certified as a lifeguard and a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. While living in Japan Jenny organized, directed, and coached a youth swim team for 2 years.
