What is included in my membership?
A General Membership ($65 per month or $39.00 per month for ages 13-25) includes unlimited use of the Fitness Center, group exercise classes (including Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Weights, Water Aerobics, Zumba etc.), indoor/outdoor pool, racquetball, nursery, basketball, volleyball, cardio equipment, free weight room, and more!
Is the General Membership my only option?
We also offer our Premier Membership for only $75 per month, which in addition to the General Membership benefits include: 10% discount off of Proshop purchases, two complimentary body fat analysis per year in our Health and Wellness Center, complimentary towel service, and one complimentary guest pass each month.
Can I "try out" the club to see if I like it?
Membership at Newport Athletic Club includes a 30 day guarantee. If for any reason you feel that the Club is not meeting your needs within the first 30 days of your membership, come in and notify us and we will terminate your agreement. You will only be obligated to pay for the time you have already been a member.
You can also receive a two week trial membership. (Must be a local resident, over 13 years of age, and first time user of the Club; limit one per person)

How do I pay for my membership?
Our membership is based on a 12-month agreement which you can choose to pay on a monthly basis or pre-pay for the entire 12-month period. Monthly members can take advanatge of our EFT program through their checking or credit card account. Members wishing to pre-pay their membership will receive two free months (receive 14 months for the price of 12).
Do you offer Senior discounts?
Yes! Members over the age of 65 enjoy a reduced rate of $55 per month for a General membership. For those insured by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI, as part of their "Medicare Living Fit" program qualify for a discounted fee of only $15 per month!
Can I add my spouse and/or family to my membership?
Absolutely! Spouses can add on for only $45 per month per person and young adults (ages 13-25 can add on for only $39.00 per month) with the maximum monthly payment for a family being $164.
Can I bring a guest?
Any time! Our guest fee is $15. We offer members a discounted package of 3 passes for only $25. These passes can be purchased by members at the front desk.
